Ellen and Family
Dick was one of the good guys. All the years we have been friends , I never knew him to be anything but smilling and kind. I loved going to his home growing up, His parents always made us feel welcome. I have missed seeing you both over the years as our careers took us in different directions geographically.He will be missed. The world is a little poorer today because he is not spreading his joy around

Dear Badois family: It was a privilege to care for Dick while he was in the hospital. I admire you all for your strength during this difficult time. Dear Auntie Ellen, Lisa, Michele, Rick and Ken,
We will all miss Uncle Dick and remember him as the kind , caring, fun and life of the party man he was. Even as young kids it was always so fun going over to your house and playing and waiting for Uncle Dick to come home from work. Michael and I have not stopped talking about Uncle Dick for the last few months. I can remember having so much fun with him on the family renunion in Savannah and at Matt's wedding. We know Uncle Dick is at peace now and you are all still in our thoughts and in our prayers daily. Thinking of all of you each day as you remember the wonderful man your Dad was.

It is always sad to receive notification that a Manhattan College alumnus has died. It becomes even sadder when you realize that we were contemporaries, as I served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1961 and Ricard Badois served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959. We, in the extended Jasper family, pray for our deceased alumni. May Richard rest in peace. We are sorry for your loss.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself … any man’s death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

My thoughts are prayers are with you during this sad time. It is very difficult to lose a parent, but I hope your memories of him burn brightly and give you strength. It was always great to see him at baseball games supporting Michael, and he will be missed.
