My little world has lost a bright star. Although we met when he was 29 years old, I felt that we had the kind of friendship that can ususally only be formed in childhood. Life dealt him serious blows, but his sense of humor and unusual wisdom always remained. I miss him, will continue to miss him.
Stu was very blessed with a loving and caring family - I've met many of them and they are all wonderful people. Stu had a good and meaningful life, and has touched many hearts. We will miss him.
Be at peace, my friend. I will remember you with a smile.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Stewart had a great unique sense of humor and always made me laugh. The trademark wry remark followed by the eyeglass bridge adjustment still makes me smile. I can only hope my boys find a childhood friend as real and sincere as Stewart was to us. From swimming, sailing, taking his parent's car on the ice, the hundreds of movies, failing miserably at meeting girls in Hopkins or just marveling at how he could play the dashboard of a car like a real drum set, they are all good memories. Stewart, you are missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Although Craig and I were in the same class, I knew Stewart as well. What a genuinely nice man. I am so sorry for your loss. I am thinking of you and praying for you!

Family and friends,
My heart is so very heavy with the news of Stewart's passing which reached me only this morning. Stewart was a great friend to so many, including myself, throughout our middle and high-school years. He was, is, and always will be one of my best friends. He had an enduring quality of bringing brightness and joy to those around him. I am so very glad to have shared those fun times with him.
Stewart,
May you rest in eternal peace, and know that I will miss you always and forever.
