I have a commercial recording of hers. I admire her
artistry. I also attended an event she put on at the
U of MN.

I attended school in Fort Worth from 1st through 12th grade and just learned of her passing by searching for her on the internet. I am sorry to see her go. She had a beautiful voice even in elementary school.

Just now learning of Glenda's passing. I first met Glenda when she was choir director at Englewood United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, Tx. She was teaching at Texas Wesleyan and mentored me for 2 years in voice. Lovely lady and lovely voice. My prayers to her family.

Glenda Maurice was my voice teacher in Greeley, Colorado when I was sixteen years old. I was her one private student. She believed I had something special and insisted she take me under her wing. I just discovered that she passed away. I am deeply grieved by this. She was my role model and I deeply loved her then and still do. She was my angel then and now, she really is one! I look forward to singing with her in Heaven some day and will be asking God to keep her close to him. God bless you Glenda. I will never forget you my friend. God's blessings to her family and all those who love her.

Glenda Maurice was a highly esteemed member of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity. We had such love, respect, and admiration for this exceptionally gifted woman.

I have such wonderful memories of the times we spent together. Especially the dinner she had with us at our home followed by the trip to Potamotami Bingo! Glenda taught us the tricks and in my one and only visit to a bingo place I won the $500 jackpot that night! She was so proud of me!
What an artist she was. I sent a number of voice pupils to her in her years at MN. She touched them all. She will be truly missed.

It was an honor working with Ms Maurice at the University of Delaware Opera Workshop, as her costume manager and designer. Her warmth of personality and tremendous talent as a singer and mentor will be greatly missed.Jan Gardner (Lopez) Broske
