Bob was the real deal, and a great warm presence each time he and Kathleen made me their guest at Scott's invitation. It was a joy to see the two of them in such a deep and abiding love for each other. I can only hope that love survives as an inspiration for we mortals who carry on. Bob, it's hole-in-one from here on out.

Bob was an old friend of my parents, Bob & Jeanne Hicks, now both deceased. I was priviledged to have shared time with he and my Dad at the coast fishing and in the office. My brother and I made an effort to see him when he and Kathleen were living in Arlington and were invited to share a wonderful evening diner with them in their home. Bob was responsible in getting my father to go see a doctor after a heart condition caused artery blockage in his leg which possibly extended his life another few years. Bob was a great story teller and a good friend to both the Hicks and Sitterle families. May he rest in peace and my best wishes to all the family I didn't know.

Bob, my first cousin, grew up in Hyde Park on Ave.G His father owned the Chrysler-Plymouth dealership prior to WW II. Bob was of great help to me when I was 12 years old following a family tragedy. When he went to WWII, and served on a Destroyer during D Day, I was in touch with him by mail. He remained my dear friend throughout his life.
