I will remember you always and the love you so freely gave me and our family. Your enthusiasm of life was a joy to share. You left my life way too early, but I will always be thankful for the 24 years that we shared. I will miss you always and carry your love in my heart for the rest of my days.

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Brad's family & friends. I knew Brad for many years; we had our ups and downs; our laughs and our tears. I still look back on those memories and it makes me smile. Brad always knew how to cheer me up or just the right thing to say to make me giggle. Ill never forget his beautiful eyes that were so often hidden when he smiled. He will be forever loved and missed

Brad's ashes were scattered in the endless waves of Port Aransas, Texas at sunrise on Saturday August 16th. It was an unusually calm and windless morning on the coast where we shared so many great times together over the years.

Rest in peace my beautiful son. I will always love you more than anything in this world and I'll miss you with every beat of my heart for the rest of my life. - Dad

Man Brad. Countless memories we have.. from highschool til now. Days of eating Pizza everyday by the telephones, always having my back... to countless hours playing q3/daoc/gears of war at your house. Things will never be the same. Sorry I have not been around the last few months.
You were the truth definition of a friend. You will be and are missed.

My condolences to the Smith family and friends.

Our hearts go out to the family but most directly to Paul. As a client of Danna's for over 20 years, she wrote this for you & Brad:
"Dear Paul,
I wish I had the right words to comfort you in this time of loss. No words will make you complete. Your strength will come from God. Nothing will stop the questioning as to why this happens and how helpless it can make you feel that it has. The factor of your faith is there to support you as time heals. God's choice of time is not ours to question but, to put him in charge and trust him as your savior. When God decides, he will bring you and Brad together again in his great glory. Remember all the good, and that God will be there to help you get through this difficult time." _Danna Briwa

Brad "Icon" Smith was one of my best friends, if not my best friend. I knew him for years on end. I can't begin to even count the number of great and amazing times we had together. He was always there for you, and always willing to listen and be a friend. Brad, I wish I could have done something. You meant so much to me, even though we had lost touch the last couple months, it seemed like we were getting our friendship back together. You didn't deserve this. I love you man. I love you also, Paul, my heart goes out to you.

With love,
Josh Harden

I never was with Brad without sharing one of his "bear hugs" , smiles and laughter no matter the topic at hand. The times he comforted me with his big heart and unending hugs calmed me many times as somehow he seemed fearless to me no matter what the challenge was facing him; I pray his family may find some strength in my memories of his ability to comfort, and encourage others to follow his path of choosing to face life's difficulties head on with a smile. I will always owe a part of where I am in my life now to him and will continue to look to him for smiles and inspiration from above. The laughter and hugs I will hold in in my heart always. With a hug in my heart for all, Mollie
