Albert Williams Obituary

Albert Paul Williams On September 3, 2010, Albert Paul Williams, of Austin, Texas passed on into the care of the Lord. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Claudia Pigg Williams, and his brother Hollis Vern Williams. He was born in Rogers, Arkansas on September 1, 1944 to loving parents Viola Dove and Hollis Paul Williams, both of whom survive him. He was a graduate of Uvalde High School in 1962. In addition to both of his parents, Albert is survived by his three children Christopher Paul of Austin, Ginger Leigh Gamez of Wylie, and David Allen of Austin. Albert was blessed to know his three grandchildren Jacob Paul Williams (Chris), Colton Roberto Gamez (Ginger), and Lucas Pierce Williams (Chris) all of whom he loved dearly. Albert will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a fierce friend. Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, September 6, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, North Lamar. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Bethany United Methodist Church, 10010 Anderson Mill Rd, Austin, TX. Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park.
