Beverly Sue Roberts

Beverly Sue Roberts Beverly Sue Roberts 76, of Buda was born in Longview Texas on November 22, 1931 and passed away on Wednesday December 19, 2007. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1949, moved to Austin in 1973 and later moved to Buda in 1991. She was an avid football fan - specifically OHS, Permian Panthers and the Hays Rebels. She was an accomplished quilter, seamstress, seasoned traveler and experienced geneaologist. Cruising was her favorite pastime. She was a member of the Buda Library Board, Buda Friends of the Library, Buda Women's Club, the Village of Buda Homeowner's Board of Directors, Buda United Methodist Church, Onion Creek Senior Citizens, Buda Bees Quilting Club and served on the Home Rule Charter Commission of Buda, and as an election judge and clerk. She retired from the State of Texas in 2001. She is preceded in death by her parents Oren and Bera Albright of Odessa and her brother Donald of Tyler. She is survived by her brother Oren Albright of Midland, cousin Dorothy Cooke of Fulshear, three daughters, Camille West and Jeff Radke of Mountain City, Toni Milam and husband Kelvin of Buda, and Tina Leeper and husband Dean of Spicewood, grandsons Brian West of Austin, Kyle West currently serving in Iraq, and Ryan Leeper of Spicewood, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many cherished friends. Special thanks from the family go to the Buda Bees for their care and attention during her chemotherapy treatments. We would also like to thank the staff of Texas Oncology South Austin Cancer Center - Kate, Pam and especially Dr. Laurence Tokaz for not only his medical expertise, but for his 23 year friendship and caring for "his number one gal".
