Charles Lambert Obituary

Charles Edward Lambert III Charles Edward Lambert III (Charlie) joined his heavenly Father on Thursday, August 5, 2010 following a brief illness. Charlie was born at Seton Hospital, Austin, Texas on February 11, 1959 to Nancy and Charles E. Lambert Jr. Even though his time with us was too short, Charlie deeply touched many lives. He loved the Lord, he loved life, he loved his family, and he dearly loved his children Carlos and Ana. Charlie attended St. Louis Catholic School, Lanier High School, Tec de Monterrey, and St. Edward's University. He completed his master's degree in international business at Central Michigan University, Guadalajara, Mexico. In work and in his personal life, which were often impossible to separate, Charlie's passion for life was demonstrated in everything he did from traveling throughout the states and abroad, to fishing, hunting, and spending time with his children, family and friends. Charlie is survived by his son, Charles (Carlos) Edward Lambert IV; daughter, Ana Elisa Lambert, both of Guadalajara, Mexico; parents, Charles E Lambert Jr. and Nancy Lambert of Austin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Worth Bull, Susan Lambert, Cindy and Charles Faught, Debbie Krzywonski, and Mary Lynn and Vernon Lucas, all of Austin. He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, cousins, Aunt Charlene, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Theresa Cheryl Lambert, twins Donna and Diane Lambert; his grandparents, Charles E. Sr. and Beulah Lambert and Bruce W and Ruby Arnold. A rosary and memorial mass celebrating Charlie's life will be held on August 11th, 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church located at 7601 Burnet Road Austin, TX 78757. Following services the family wishes to invite family and friends to join them for fellowship and lunch at Wozniak Hall (St. Louis Church grounds). Interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the "Lambert Educational Fund" established for his children through Velocity Credit Union or any charity of your choice. I am so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. I knew Charlie through my years at St. Louis Catholic School, and had a boyfriend crush on him probably around 6th or 7th grade. I last ran into him with his family, at St. Theresa's Church several years ago. My prayers are with all those family and friends, whom were touched by Charlie's life.

Nancy,Charlie and family ,I was so sorry to hear of Charlies death.
I remember "little Charlie"when Nancy would bring him to the paint store.
He was so special to all of us,even when he scared the wits out of us by hiding behind the paint displays and we all thought he was lost and had wandered out of the store. Bridie,Bill and I search everywhere before we caught him, we all said a prayer. I will continue to keep you and the family in my prayers. Jo Ann Reeves

My Mother, Mildred Smith, called me this morning to be sure I knew about Charlie's death. Please know that our family is saddened with the news. While we haven't kept in touch since our days together at St Louis Church/School (I was in Debbie's class), I still remember Charlies's huge mischievous smile and wonderful dimples. Carol, I am truly saddened with our loss of little Charlie. Our families have been given great struggles through the years. For you, it was the twins, Cheryl, now Charlie. For me it was my dad, Donna, Robert and then my mom.

We have only to look to our faith to find a reason. God bless you and the Lambert family.

He was a true gentleman. The finest, in every sense of the word. It seems impossible he is no longer on this earth for us to see and touch and be with. But I know that his remarkable spirit lives on. Everyone 'needed' Charlie. I guess God needed him more...Till we meet again my dearest...Vaya con Dios
