I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Damman on a nonprofit project. I was very impressed with his chivalry, kindness, and respect. He clearly had a passion for life and love for his family and his co-workers. I'm sure he was a very busy man, but took the time to give me a tour of his workplace, clearly very proud of what he had built, and the people with whom he worked every day. Chivalry is not dead, and Mr. Damman was a kind, strong family man who loved God and others. It's not often people leave an impact on you like that.

I first met Jim Damman in late 1998 when I came to work for QuantumDigital. I was immediately struck by his generous, gentle nature and disarming wit. Since that time, the warmth and sense of family I've felt from him and the rest of the Dammans has only increased. A true father and leader in every respect, I feel my life is richer for having known him. I will miss him greatly, and I will always keep him in my prayers.
