Patsy & Judy, hope all is well. Every year that I put up my x-mas tree I think of her cause she gave me some dangling ornaments & still love them. Take care.

Patsy and Judy,

I haven't seen you both in years, but wanted to tell you both great I thought Clara Mae was. I can still remember swimming and fishing at the lake on your farm in Hidalgo, and also Clara Mae playing the organ with my Mother belting it out on the piano together...both at the Hidalgo house and when she lived on Jackson Street. Those were the days!

Clara Mae was a great friend to our family for so many years. She was a fine person.

Judy and Patsy,
I know my mom really enjoyed your mom's friendship over the years and their card games. She would always talk about your mom. I know it is hard but my sympathy is with you.
She was a great woman.

Hi Judy and Patsy, My sincere sympathy to all of you. I'm sorry I missed her service. Your mom was my best fun friend at Camelot. I surely missed her visits to my desk, almost daily. Mrs. Morris (resident) contacted me by phone and mailed me the paper clipping. I don't get the paper. I spoke to her several times on the phone. Nancy gave me her ph# when she moved to Austin. One day I mentioned to Nancy that I didn't get an answer and if she had spoken to her. Few days later she called Duncan to ask about her and learned that she wasn't doing well. I resigned from Heritage Village in Nov., 2007. I worked there for 19 1/2 yrs. I greatly appreciated the thought. Please say HI to Duncan and Jeffrey. She always looked forward to Jeffry's visit. I saw Frank Osborn's entry. Hi Mr./Mrs. and Amy Osborn. I took care of his mom for 9 yrs. 11pm-7am until her death. She also was a dear lady. Yoli

Patsy and Judy
Words cannot express empathy for your loss. I visited with your mother on only a few occasions. It was easy to see where the two of you got your spirit. I wish I had learned of the services prior to this evening. My thoughts are with you.

Patsy & Judy,

Some of my earliest memories include your grandmother & grandfather Young. We all lived on Peking Street. And, I being the 3 year old neighborhood visitor, made their house one of my stops. It was there I first met your mom. Through the years, when I would run into her (usually at the grocery store), she was always so kind to me. Seeing her picture in the paper brought back sweet childhood memories.

We always expect to outlive our parents, but we are never ready to let them go. I pray you hold her sweet memory close to your heart. May God give you peace and comfort and may His richest blessings be yours.

I had the opportunity to meet Clara Pate while working at Vista Oaks where she was a resident. We shared many fun filled times when we were together comparing recipes (hers always had a story with it and of course sounded better than mine) she had wonderful memories of her life in Mc Allen, TX and was delighted when she could talk about them, the pleasure she felt when antique shopping, and every visit with her led to talk of her wonderful family, The love she felt for you will live on far longer than her. Thank you for sharing her with me.Knowing Clara Pate has been a privilege, blessing and joy. She was a beautiful person and I will always remember her as a treasured friend.
