Dear Nettie Ruth,

Our deepest sympathy to you in Morris' death. Worship at UUMC will not be the same without his smiling face and lovely singing voice from three rows behind us. He was one of Christ's special servants, and we will miss him.

Love,
Tom

Morris was 3 years ahead of me in Cleburne High School as well as at Southwestern University. I looked up to him as my example and hero. Fate decreed that our lives would not let us stay in touch; but, Nettie Ruth, if you remember me, know that I share your loss.
