All of my memories of Uncle Lewis are good and happy memories as he was always a delightful happy man with a huge laugh and a huge warm heart. He instilled the Traut work ethics in all us as kids. Uncle Lewis would relish the opportunity to talk about David and he would glow from his accomplishments. He had the ability to teach people and make most complex tasks seem simple. When one of us succeeded Lewis stood back and took no credit, and if one of us failed he was right by your side with encouragement. Lewis always stood up for what he believed and made this world a better place for all of us. We love you and rest in peace.

I will miss my uncle...what a dear man. He was so loving and happy all the time. I did love to listen to his stories, especially the ones that he told about him and my dad and my grandmother.
