Marsha was a true inspiration to me. Her zest for life and her wry sense of humor combined with her compassion for nursing made her one of the dearest instructors at OHSU SON. I am a better nurse for being under her instruction. She will be missed by all, but her legacy for excellence in the nursing profession will be carried on by all those who knew her.

Marsha- one of the most beautiful, intelligent, and graceful woman I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. It was such an honor to know you, to learn from you, and to simply be in your presence. You never got to meet my mother while on this earth...and she passed away just over a month ago. The heavens now have two very special angels. All of my love to your family. --Halina Barber BSN, MSN, RN, PhD(c)

Marsha was a friend and professor of mine for 6 months in 2009. I think I learned more from her in those six months than the other 3 years of nursing school. Her love and light and unwavering ability to stand up and do the right thing has helped me to be a bolder and more inquisitive nurse. She is greatly missed.
