Bette J. Chartier, 56, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 8, 2010, at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine.
Bette was the wife of the late James Chartier and the daughter of the late Henry and Dorthy Morrill. She is survived by her daughters, Lillian Chartier, Theresa Thomas, Lucy Anne Chartier, Jami Chartier and Holly Win; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Louise Naik, Lillian Harold, and Linda and Ruby Phillips; a brother, Bob Whalen; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Henry Morrill.
Bette was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Hastings. The memorial will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 20 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
She was loved by many, many people.
Funeral arrangements were made by Craig Crematory in St. Augustine.

I loved my grandmother and miss her very much as do many others. I hope she is at peace and with grandpa like she wanted. If anyone deserves it, it is her. She was the kindest person that I ever knew and ever will.
