I remember a very cold night in February 1977. My Dad, who mentored Ronny, in the heating and cooling business, was i the hospital recovering from serious illness. It was late, and we came home to fire, police, and gas company. The old furnance was leaking gas. We called Ron, and in less than an hour Ron, his crew were tearing the old system out, and luck for us, we had anew furnace waiting to be put in. Ron, his crew, and my brother , worked for almost 24 hours to get the heat and hot water back on. I last saw Ron, about five years ago, at Chesterfield Mall, shortly before I left St Louis. He was a kind, generous, and loving man. he had a heart as biog as he was. He loved my Dad, and my Dad loved him. My condolences to the family. You had someone special, and someone who will always be with you. In your memories, your children's laugh and in your hearts.

Ronny was as pleasant and genuine man as I have ever met. He always asked about my family and mutual friends! He was a delight to do business with. My sincerest condolences to Cheryl and the Protzel family.

Dear Family, Ronnie was always the cousin I was looking forward to seeing at our Cousin's Club Chanukah and Passover events. He was always so warm and friendly with the biggest, most sincere smile. We loved seeing him at Straubs as I know so others did. Seemed like everyone knew Ronnie and what a great guy he was. I know he will be deeply missed. So sad that he passed so way before his time. Wishing the family deepest sympathies and comfort in his beloved memory.

So many years so many memories. We were little kids when we first met at the deli and over he years Ron always brought a smile to my face whenever we ran into each other. When thinking where to get dinner, I went to Straub's because Ron might be there. He always wished he was back at the deli and my family wished the same. He will be missed.

P.S. My parents ( Herbert and Elaine) were Ronnie's first customers when he went into the heating and cooling business.
