Ernest Johansen Obituary

Johansen, Ernest C. entered into rest Monday, August 6, 2012. Beloved husband of Margery (nee Sindecuse) Johansen; father of Rex C. (Betsy) Johansen and Jay A. Johansen; cherished grandfather of Kelsey (Peter) Kreyling and Eric Johansen; great-grandfather of Jane and baby Maggie Kreyling; our dear brother, uncle and friend to many. Mr. Johansen was the manager and part-owner of the Howard Johnson's restaurant in Hazelwood, MO. He proudly served his country in the U.S Navy. He enjoyed traveling with his wife around the world, playing bridge and was past president of the St. Louis and Missouri Restaurant Associations. Services: Private Services will be Held at Bellerive Cemetery. Contributions to Alzheimer's Association, 9370 Olive Blvd, Saint Louis, MO 63132.Online guestbook@ stlfuneral.com.
