To the Waldrop family -
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. "Mr. Waldrop" was an excellent commercial arts teacher for both myself and my mother. I had the priviledge of crossing paths with him again when my boys went to Sperreng Middle and interacted with Debbie. I hope your memories bring you great comfort and also knowing how many lives he positively influenced. South Tech class of 1974

Jim was my big brother. I remember many times going to St Louis with our dad and having him look at the drawings of race cars that I thought I was so good at. Catching fireflys, fireworks on the 4th. I will miss my big brother. Love you Jimmy

Dear Waldrop Family,
I'd like to extend my condolences to you at this time of loss. Jim was a generous and caring man, who changed my life and opened a whole world to me. I will never understand the full array of gifting bestowed on a man like him; gifting that allowed him to shape and build young people. His influence on my life was profound. I benefit from his relationship with me, and I am forever grateful. I called him 'Jim' for years. But in my heart, he will always be, Mr. Waldrop.

Mr. Waldrop,
You will always be remembered as my wonderful teacher who put wind beneath my wings! Thank you for believing in me before I even knew myself. You will be greatly missed...sending you peace and love till we meet again one day.
