Linda and Family,
My deepest condolences. David had called me early in June and also just last week while in the hospital to help set up a meeting with Stephanie and Matthew for their kitchen - a loving, kind and helpful father. I was sad to learn of his passing ealier this week. I know David enjoyed woring on the home projects and the planning. He was always enthusiastic and never let the pain he suffer keep him from this work. He was a fine and soldier.

Dave's strong spirit and great sense of humor made a great impact on me . . . and on many others. And oh, what enthusiasm he had for singing bass in the choir! Dawn Riske--Saint Louis

Dave shared his warm personality and generous laugh with everyone he met! I will always remember our friendship and the long ride home from an Ozark conference because Dave brought us back home the "Scenic Route" and I was doing the driving, 20 miles out of the way!!!! Dave was really a great co-worker and friend, he will be greatly missed!

David and Linda have been friends for over 40 years. Cindy and I sang at your wedding at Scott AFB. He was not only a friend but a brother. David was never afraid to stand up for what he believed in. David is a true American hero.....and I will miss you alot.

My deepest condolence and prayers to the family. Dave and I worked together before he retired. He shared work, military, and veteran information and most importantly he shared in many good times and laughter. What a great man with such a great big heart.

Dave always had a smile and a hug. He was a very special man who had deep beliefs in God and family and church. I'll miss him a lot and am glad I was able to create prayer shawls for him and Linda. May the peace of God be with all.

Dave, Dave, Dave. Even though we had not spent time together since you left OCD, I will always remember your constant smile and your wonderful sense of humor; how you teased me all the time. I will remember when our gospel group came to perform at your church per your invitation. I will remember so many great times we shared working on church flyers! You will be missed bunches and much!

We are very sadden about the passing of Dave. We knew he was a military man, but he was also a gentle man. What a sweet smile he had.
He loved his family and his church - he was a good and faithful servant of God! Linda and family you are in our prayers. We are so sorry for your loss!
