Not sure what to say?

David was a dear friend and was there for my father and my family at Scott Air Force Base after Vietnam.David was a beautiful person that served his country with honor. He will be missed by those that knew him and loved him.

Linda and Family,
My deepest condolences. David had called me early in June and also just last week while in the hospital to help set up a meeting with Stephanie and Matthew for their kitchen - a loving, kind and helpful father. I was sad to learn of his passing ealier this week. I know David enjoyed woring on the home projects and the planning. He was always enthusiastic and never let the pain he suffer keep him from this work. He was a fine and soldier.

-Lt. Col. (Ret.)...

Dave's strong spirit and great sense of humor made a great impact on me . . . and on many others. And oh, what enthusiasm he had for singing bass in the choir! Dawn Riske--Saint Louis

His laugh and love of life made a great impact on me . . . and so many others. And he loved singing bass in the choir!

Although miles separate us our love and condolences are with you!

Dave shared his warm personality and generous laugh with everyone he met! I will always remember our friendship and the long ride home from an Ozark conference because Dave brought us back home the "Scenic Route" and I was doing the driving, 20 miles out of the way!!!! Dave was really a great co-worker and friend, he will be greatly missed!

David and Linda have been friends for over 40 years. Cindy and I sang at your wedding at Scott AFB. He was not only a friend but a brother. David was never afraid to stand up for what he believed in. David is a true American hero.....and I will miss you alot.

Charleston SC - smile with the memories! It was a joy to know him, even for a little while. God bless you Dave, welcome home, soldier.

My deepest condolence and prayers to the family. Dave and I worked together before he retired. He shared work, military, and veteran information and most importantly he shared in many good times and laughter. What a great man with such a great big heart.
