Harold C. Ratliff

Ratliff, Harold C. fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church died peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Beloved husband for 63 years of Helen (Klobucar) Ratliff. Loving father of Virginia (John) Marke, Harold C. Chuck (Diane) Ratliff, Richard (Elaine) Ratliff, and Mike (Kathy) Ratliff; dearest grandfather of 7 grand children and 2 great-grandchildren. Harold was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Dollan Ratliff, and mother, Hulda Woods Ratliff, of Grundy, VA; brother of the late Alice Hackney, Osie White, Edith Ramey, Earl Ratliff, Quentin Ratliff, Kermit Ratliff, Pearn Neal Ratliff, and Ralph Ratliff; survived by brother Reual (Dorothy) Ratliff and sister-inlaw Nell Ratliff; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. Harold graduated from the University of Missouri School of Mines & Metallurgy in 1951. He went to work for Fruin-Colnon Construction (FruCon), served on the Board of Directors, and retired as Executive Vice President in 1987. Harold served in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1948. Services: Visitation Friday, June 20, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois, St. Louis, MO 63123; Funeral Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m at St. Anslelm Catholic Church, 530 S. Mason Rd., Town and Country, MO 63141. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities Archdiocese of St. Louis.
