I worked with Jim at CPI/Fox Photo for many years. Outstanding character, a man I respected. He always spoke about his family and children in a positive manner, sharing his love of sporting activity. His family, and the community lost something of value, a great citizen in our society.

Dear Sandy, Kevin and Caitlin,
I hope you know how much we appreciate what Jim did for our family in our time of need. He was a brave man who believed in people and did not let anything keep him from expressing his beliefs. His work with Matthew was directly responsible for Matt's success and we will ever forget that. I will never forget the day that his example of bravery and determination in his support of me allowed me to overcome the challenges I then faced. He is forever in our hearts and we want you all to know we are forever in your service. May God bless you in this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Dear Sandy,Kevin and Caitlin,
One of the many great things about coaching high school athletes is getting to meet some remarkable people and families. Kevin , it was a pleasure to be one of your coaches, and an honor to get to know your father. His generosity to our program and to me personally will not be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

Dear Sandy & Family,
I can only imagine the deep loss you all feel at this time. I am beyond sad at the loss of my Brother. We had only begun to share a bond again and the three of you were what helped to bring that about. Jim talked long and proud about his family as I did mine. And in doing this we found a way to communicate again. Each time we spoke, we were a little bit closer. It made me happy to know how proud he was of his family and the joy I heard in his voice was such a sweet sound when he spoke of all of you. He was always kind in his comments of my kids and I will never forget that. He is most certainly gone to soon but we will not forget. Our prayer is that God will lift you all up at this time and ease your grief. His was a life well lived. God Bless you all.

Sandy, Kevin and Caitlyn, I am so sorry for your loss. Your husband/father hired me for my first corporate job not long out of college, later I coached Kevin on a hockey team at Affton when he was ten years old. In that time, I was able to get to know Jim well. Without a doubt, I am a better businessman, husband and father having observed his dedication to those roles and applied them to my own life. I am grateful for his presence and remain certain hundreds if not thousands of others have been just as impacted and grateful. His legacy will be felt for decades as he has left the world a better place than how he found it. Those of us who were fortunate to know him will carry on his principles so that others can be better in life.
