Rosemarie Kalicak

Kalicak, Rosemarie Beloved relative, friend, and extraordinary woman died on October 7, 2012 at Friendship Village of Sunset Hills in South St. Louis County. She was born in Wilsonville, IL on August 9, 1927, to John and Anna Kalicak, and lived in St. Louis, MO for most of her life. As a young woman Rose was proud to support the WWII effort. She worked as a quality assurance lab technician for more than 40 yrs. Rose loved her travels to South America, Europe, Africa, and throughout North America. An avid Cardinal fan, she spent spring trainings in Florida, and rarely missed a game. Enjoying theater and the symphony, her singing and dancing, the outdoors and fishing trips were among Rose's other favorite pursuits. What she truly cherished the most was her many friends and family whom she always welcomed and blessed with generosity, humor, and wisdom. Family holding her dear in remembrance include her sister and brother-inlaw, Leona & Joe Leonardelli; her sister-in-law Lena Kalicak; her niece, nephews and their spouses Barb & Steve Strang, Ronnie & Suzy Kalicak, Stephen Kalicak, Michael & Jane Leonardelli, Jim & Connie Leonardelli; her great nieces and nephews, Sally & Eric Oelzen, Patti Kalicak, Casey and Abbey Kalicak, Geoffrey, Jonathan, Kirk, Eric and Kyle Leonardelli and their families. Services: As per her request, there will not be an open memorial or funeral service. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army. A service of Kutis Affton Chapel.
