Rich, Richard, Diane, Steve, and families: what a beautiful, brilliant, vibrant, caring, loving, empathic visionary, and force of nature was your precious Carol. From the moment I was introduced to Carol by her very close friend, Mary Beth Checkett, some thirty plus years ago, I just adored her. She personified "Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you". The world and countless individuals were changed for the better from her ever-constant
social outreach, which she performed with humility and
purity of heart. Always the lady. Rest in peace, Carol. Much love and prayers, Kathy and Joe Buttici. contact us

Richard, I send my condolences to you and your family. Carol was an old, old friend of mine from Glenridge days and I fondly remember "hanging around" her apartment off of Westwood in Clayton. Those were the days when kids just sort of hung around, aimlessly, just enjoying each other's company without really caring about time. I last saw Carol when I gave her a ride home from Harvey Harris' 50th reunion party in 2004. Since I recently heard about Carol's illness, she has been in my prayers. Now I'm sure her passing has at least given her the peace and repose she so mercifully deserves.
