Teepe, John H. fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thurs., January 3, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Catherine E. Teepe; dear father of Linda K. (Jim) Thoenen, John M. (Carolyn) Teepe, Patricia A. Teepe and Matthew T. (Lesa) Teepe; dear grandfather of Jim (Michelle) Thoenen, Elizabeth (Greg) Buchek, John B. (Marie) Teepe, Kelly (Hoyt) Reed, Jason Teepe, Mark Teepe, Daniel Teepe, Joseph Teepe and Lynsea Teepe; dear great grandfather of Sophia, Caroline, Will, Kathryn, Augustus, Abigail, Jack, Andrew, Colin and Daniel. Dear uncle and friend to many. John proudly served his country during World War II as a radar operator on the Aleutian Island of Kiska. He was an avid amateur radio operator, astronomer, builder of kites, music lover, owner of an Edison record player, and collector of records. John was a loving and generous father. We will all miss Big John. Services: Funeral mass Tuesday, Jan. 8, 10:00am at St. Clement of Rome Church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
