Ahner, Shirley Mae (nee Stengel) at home surrounded by her family on Monday April 16, 2007. Beloved wife for 60 years of Harold H. Ahner; dearest mother of David L. (Laurie) Ahner, Pat M. Ahner, Barb L. (Mike Miller) Kiser, Nancy M. (Dave) Endres and Richard H. (Patti) Ahner; dearest grandmother of Elizabeth and Ashley Ahner, Jason, Kristina Wurst, Suzanne (Matt) Weis, Robbie (Jeri-Marie) Kiser, Nick (Katie) Kiser, Sara and Stephen Endres, Jessica, Graham and Alyssa Ahner; dear great-grandmother of Tanner Weis and Presley Kiser; dear sister of Ronnie Schute and the late Mildred Meisinger and Lucille Maassen; dear aunt, cousin and friend of many. Shirley was co-founder of Ahner Bros. Florist and brought happiness to all of her customers.Services: Funeral service Thurs., April 19, 10 a.m. at Glendale Lutheran Church, 1365 N. Sappington Rd. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Glendale Lutheran Church or American Parkinsons Disease,135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, NY. 10305. The family sincerely thanks Shirley's caregivers, Laura and Audrey. Visita tion Wednsday 4-8 p.m. at BOPP Chapel., 10610 Manchester Road, Kirkwood.
