I am so sorry for your loss. I share this passage "Let your gentleness be known to all men, the Lord is near." The quote appears in the Memorial Book, May 2, Birth of Virginia Schnable. The book was passed to me from Elsie Mary Fisbeck Wotli, my Grandmother. Find comfort in your memories.

It was 1959 City of Havana ship when we met your family, you were visiting our country, your parents were always smiling, very sweet, my father trying some English, your Dad listening very patiently, I remember their address too
3614(?) Iron St. St Louis 16, MO. A long (pen-pal) friendship we have, something that we treasure after all this yrs, we tell happy news and like this sad news too, but we keep in touch, we are lucky that our parents encouraged us to write to each others. God bless them.

To the family of Ginny,
We met your Parents when we moved into St. Stephen's Parish and they never ran into us without stopping to say hello and ask how our children were doing. Your Mom was a special, kind person. It was a special treat to see them once in awhile after they had moved from our neighborhood. I'm so happy to have seen her at Mass recently at St. Stephen's and had a moment to say hello to her. She lived a good life and loved and was loved by her family and many friends and we know she will be missed. We regret not being able to personally express our sorrow, but I will attend the Funeral Mass today at St. Stephen's.
