Brother of Ilene G Wittels, PhD (Alan Gerstein). Former husband of Judith Marks Gordon. Best friend of Georgianne Zemanek of College Station, TX. Uncle, great-uncle and cousin to many. Jules graduated Washington University School of Medicine and was President of the Faculty and Professor of Biochemistry and Pathology at University of Colorado Medical School and Chairman and Professor at Texas A & M Medical School in College Station, TX. He was a noted cancer researcher in the U.S., participated in the Gordon Research Conferences in Biochemistry and had a fellowship at the Carlsberg Institute in Denmark and spent 2 sabbaticals at the Chaim Weizmann Institute in Israel.
