Beloved husband of Mary Elizabeth (nee Kearns), and the late Rita Ann (nee Boland), and Jane Sue (nee Abernathy); loving father of Mike Laflin (Carol) of Aptos, CA, Pat Laflin (Joanne) of Clearwater, FL, Molly Laflin of Bowling Green, OH, Tim Laflin (Mary Ann), Monica Laflin (Norm Smith) of Carlsbad, CA and Maureen Laflin of Moscow, ID; dear grandfather of Melanie, Jamie, Mary, Jane, Andrew, Jim, Brendan, Meghan, Margaret and Kelsey; great-grandfather of Jolene and Kevin; cherished stepfather of Mary Clare Lipic (Martin), Jamie Kearns (Vickie), Geri Zeidler (Rine) and Pat Kearns (Jayne); dear brother of Bill Laflin (Marge) of Houston, TX, John Laflin (Marge) of Albuquerque, NM, Jane McKinney (Harry) of Tucson, AZ and the late Clarice Rex, Doris Jacobi and George Laflin; uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many. Mr. Laflin was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Clayton for over 60 years, a retired Special Agent of the FBI, former Mayor of the city of Clayton and former VicePresident of Southern Comfort Corporation.Services:A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Meramec and Maryland Avenues, Clayton, on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 10 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
