I grew up watching this man and his compadres play in the Barn, fell in love with the Blues with their brand of hockey. Later had the pleasure of visiting his restaurant a few times, when my parents took me into Cuba. RIP, you will be forever remembered and loved and respected. Thank you sir for your hockey, and more importantly for being a damn great man with such a smile.

As kids, we begged for extra tickets outside The Old Barn to see our heroes play. Noel and Bobby were our guys and always treated us with warmth, friendship, and respect.
I know the opposing teams at the pick-up games in heaven will be keeping there heads up a little more now. May God bless you, Big Guy. Thanks for all of the great memories!

I learned to love hockey watching this man. Thanks for bringing a very good brand of hockey to St. Louis. Fun to watch and learn from men like Noel, Barclay, Glenn, and Jacques.

To The Picard Family,
My deepest sympathies in the loss of Noel.
I was so fortunate to spend 4 seasons as his teammate.
We enjoyed success in those years and Noel was a big part of that both on the ice and in the dressing room.
Thoughts and prayers from The Hall Family.

RIP Noel. Loved your game on the ice and your genuine happy-go-lucky style off the ice. The yin-yang thing I guess.
From a fan at the Old Barn and your Midway Restaurant and Bar.

My deepest condolences to the Picard family from the family of Del Moore. Noel was a great friend to our family and we all have such great memories of the good ole days at the old Big T ranch. I always remember him with fondness. He was truly a family man who adored his kids and I will never forget the fun times that we had many years ago. RIP big guy

What excitement you brought to Blues hockey, both on the ice and in the booth. You also brought great excitement to our neighborhood when you lived in Lin-Tel. Always kind and gracious. A hero in the eyes of all us kids who were so excited to have a hockey player in the neighborhood! I think you made a great number of hockey fans during your time here. Rest in peace.
