Dear Blase Family,
I have such fond memories of your mom. We started working at Birthright at the same time. We talked and laughed more than we probably should have. Mary always kept the office running so well and her commitment to Birthright moms and babies was beautiful. She was so proud of her lovely family. She will look out for you all from heaven now. I will miss her.

To the Blase family,
Your mom's funeral mass this morning was a beautiful celebration of her life. Sorry I wasn't able to stay for the luncheon. I just wanted to tell you how blessed I feel to have known your parents growing up.
They always made me feel welcome the countless amount of hours that I spent at your house. God bless you all!

Many moons ago I seemed to run into your mom at the grocery store all of the time, and she always made me laugh. Now she is in Heaven laughing with even more joy. Hear her laughter in your hearts when there's a twinge of pain in missing her--I know the feeling as my own mom went to Heaven three years ago. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

To all the Blase family, Your mom was such a good friend to my mom, Marian Stack. I remember how they would laugh when they were together. Mary had the most beautiful smile that never left her face. God bless you all and comfort you in your sorrow.

Deepest sympathy to all. Mary was a tremendous friend and inspiration to so many of us at Birthright. We could never work as hard, crack a funnier joke or be as dedicated as she was. May she pray for us now.

To the Blase family,
Mary taught me my job at Birthright and forever after was the one I went to for questions, help and laughter. Together we solved problems, corrected errors and laughed. I can't imagine doing that job without her help. Even though neither of us work there now and I wouldn't expect to see her much, she will be missed. Everyone who knew her, knew her sense of humor. I will miss that. May God bless you all.

My heartfelt condolences to the Blase family. Your mom and dad loomed very large in my young life, from cub scouts to boy scouts to life on Hudson Drive to all events that happened at St. Casimir's Church.

I was saddened to hear of Mary's passing. Since our days working together at General American Life Insurance Company, we have exchanged Christmas cards and sometimes pictures. I always knew she was a very special person. My condolences to her beautiful children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mary leaves behind an incredible legacy. There is a hole left that will never be filled and there is that great joy that the Blase children will always know and that can never be taken away because they were loved so well.

Mary was always a positive and gentle person, who enjoyed her children and had a good sense of humor at every stage of their growth. I was a not yet a teenager when I babysat her children, but she was someone I admired even then. My thoughts are with her family.

Tom, Bob, Teresa, Jeanne, Bill, Barb, John & Jim, Thinking of you and your families at this difficult time. May your memories bring you peace and comfort. Aunt Mary had such boundless energy and enthusiasm for life and was so very strong in her faith. She brought such lightheartedness and fun to our family gatherings. It is reassuring to know she is finally free of her pain and suffering and that she is with her eternal family in the presence of our Lord. May God's grace bring you strength.

My dear Aunt Mary was a very special person. So full of life and always ready with a joke and a laugh. I have many wonderful memories of spending time with her whenever my family visited St. Louis. I loved her very much, and I'm so glad she was a part of my life. Her beautiful spirit will live on.
