We were all truly blessed to have a wonderful lady like Nana in our lives; she was gracious, lovely, and nurturing. From our childhood to her final hours reminiscing about Nana's stories always put a smile on her face and warmed our hearts.

Whenever my sisters and I were with Nana there was never a dull moment. From babysitting, to playing restaurant, and dress up when we were little to our more recent visits Nana always seemed to be the one everyone adored.

My fondest memory with Nana was during her babysitting adventures with us. Like the time my sisters and I refused to come up from the basement for lunch because we were skating. Instead of making us take the skates off Nana carried each one of us up a flight of stairs and back down after we enjoyed a grilled cheese with strawberry jelly.

We may have drove Nana crazy at times like this but looking back we all got a laugh out of the stories. I know Nana will continue to live on in each one of our hearts and we will continue to make her proud each and every day. And in the great words of Nana "I don't know anything else..."

My memories of your mom and dad and you, Mick and Mary, go back to Canterbury Gardens in the late 50's. We were neighbors and friends there with the Brocks and Devlins and Kennetts. So many wonderful memories of fun times for all of us who had been transplanted to St. Louis area.
Always loved seeing your folks and will keep those memories forever. My deepest sympathy to all of their family.

Mary was one of the nicest ladies I ever met. She was so pleasant to talk to. When we would drive her home from our family events, she would always have a story to tell us. Never boring.
We will miss her. She is in our hearts and prayers. May the memories help comfort you in this difficult time.

Blessings, Michael & Lisa Barttelbort
