The Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of Troop and Pack 335 at Mary Queen of Peace have been wonderfully educated and entertained by Mr. Crawford and his wonderful staff from World Bird Sanctuary. Thank you for sharing your time and special interest through the years. We will miss him.

Very sad day today. I was privileged to be friends with Kathy, this is how I knew of the WBS. I became fascinated once I visited and learned from the volunteers and workers. I heard stories about Mr Crawford. What an amazing adventure he has had. My condolences to the family, he will truly be be missed. I am glad I got to meet him only for a minute. His journey will continue thru all that care...

We were honored to have Stormy speak at one of our recent meetings--and his enthusiasm, dedication and patriotism were treasured by all in attendance that day.

What a true gentleman and hero. We had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Crawford at the St. Louis grass-roots "Welcome Home" parade, in January 2012. His enthusiasm was contagious, and his respect for our Veterans was immeasurable. God bless you Walt. You will not be forgotten!

My thoughts go to Walt's family, loved ones, and all of those whom he touched . I went to high school with his son, and college with his nephew. I have always been inspired by his commitment to conservation and the biology. Rest in peace.

Having known Stormy almost from Day 1, we'll miss his cheerful personality. What a blessing he has been to the world! Fly with the eagles, mate, and rest peacefully.
