My deepest sympathy to Ray's entire family. Anne, you are in the thoughts and prayers of many.
Ray was very dear friend to me and my family. He was my "go to" person when I needed advice on many things and was a good ear when I needed to vent. He will be greatly missed, not only by his family and friends, but by the American Legion and 40/8!! It is a great loss for everyone. I don't know what we are all going to do without him. He made the world a better place just by being in it.
R.I.P. Ray. You are greatly missed by many. With all the legionnaires and Voyageurs up there, I'm sure you are having some rousing meetings and promenades.
Give my love to Jack.
Love,
Jerri

Quit a bio, read it in the St. Louis Post Disp., one of the greats from "The Greatest Generation". Some testamony about the miracle of Ray's wife's leg being saved through the intersession of St. Joseph, Patron of the Shrine which Ray volunteered so amorously for. Like my own Father; who to the world was a great man, I knew his flaws but loved and admired him anyway and am always challenged to be more like him.

Sincere sympathy and prayers from Betty (Cooper) Clover and family.
