Dudley Bowman Batchelor

Batchelor, Dudley Bowman passed away on Wed., March 29, 2017. Beloved husband of Constance Canavan Roeder and the late Margaret Rodemyer Batchelor; dearest father of Dudely B. Batchelor, Jr., of New Orleans, LA., and Margaret B. Hagee (George), Sullivan, MO; dear grandfather of Lewis Batchelor Hagee. Mr. Batchelor was born in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Phillips Academy, Yale University and attended CarnegieMellon. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve from 1942-1952 and attained the rank of Lieutenant. He worked as an executive for 42 years at Mallinckrodt Inc. He was a longtime parishioner at the Church of St. Michael and St. George, a member of the Order of St. John and the Society of the Cincinnati in the State of Virginia. Services: The Funeral Service will be conducted at the Episcopal Church of St. Michael and St. George, 6345 Wydown at Ellenwood, Clayton, on Thursday, April 6, at 10 am. A reception in the Great Hall will follow the service. Private Interment Bellefontaine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials appreciated to the charity of one's choice.
