Mac (Everett) R. McCoy, 71, passed away October 7, 2015 in Ocean Springs, MS.
Mac was born April 11, 1944 in Portland, OR to Sylvia & Jack McCoy. They later divorced and moved to Shelton, WA. Mac graduated from Irene S. Reed High School in Shelton, WA, and married Sue Hall in 1963. They later divorced. They had four children.
During Mac's career, he worked and lived from the West Coast to the Gulf Coast. He was a state patrol officer, driver for many bus companies, worked in the gaming industry, and was a long haul truck driver. He loved his family & friends, taking cruises, traveling, boating, & fishing.
He is preceded in death by his mother Sylvia Fonzo and Jack McCoy; stepfather, Tony Fonzo, and sister, Drena Case.
He is survived by his children, Tracy (Marty) Wade of Shelton, WA, Joelene (Tim) Carter of Tumwater, WA, Dean (Patricia) McCoy of Shelton, WA, and Mike (Michaela) McCoy of Shelton, WA; sister, Toni Fonzo of Selah, WA; grandchildren, Josh McCoy of Shelton, WA, Amber Wade of Anchorage, AK, Alisha Wade of Everett, WA, Brandt and Riley McCoy of Shelton, WA, and great grandchild, Kinley Creeger of Anchorage, AK.
Southern Mississippi Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

I always knew Mac as Killer McCoy. We played high school baseball together. He earned the nickname Killer because Coach Dombrowski told him to quit trying to kill the ball - just meet it. Mac always swung for the fences. I think he continued to swing for the fences his entire life.

I love Mac. He always could make me laugh. All of us in the Shelton class of 1963 will miss him greatly.

The Irene S. Reed High School (Shelton, WA) Class of 1963 has lost our friend Mac McCoy. We will miss you. So glad we got to visit at the 50th class reunion last year.
