He is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Rita Garcia; parents, Floyd E Brune, Sr. and Antonia Pavolini.
Survivors include his daughter, Maria Brune; sons, Floyd (Linda) Brune III, Michael (Amanda) Brune and Donald (Shari) Brune; sister, Betty Brune Bier; brother, Anthony Brune, Sr.; grandchildren, Elizabeth R. Brune, Thomas E. Brune, Linda D. Arthur, Jeffrey S. Brune, Tabitha A. Lane, Leticia M. Brune Stauber, Michael D. Jensen, Christopher S. Jensen and Tammy Michaels; great grandchildren, Brittney D. Brune, Damien M. Brune, Caden A. Arthur, Addison E. Arthur, Kaleb S. Brune, Makaylee M. Brune, Tylor R. Michaels and Allison D. Jensen.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. There will also be a visitation on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until 10:40 a.m. with a procession following to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church for an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.

Mr. Brune, You was a hard worker and dedicated to your job or jobs and you loved/was very dedicated to your family and St. Martin. Mr. Brune was a true St. Martin Yellowjacket. His presence on campus is dearly missed, but he's running things in heaven now! Much love and comfort to the family.

God Bless Mr. Brune and his family. I worked along side him for 7 years at St. Martin Schools Administration Office. He was hardworking and dedicated to his job and truly loved St. Martin. He will be greatly missed. I loved him dearly. Helen Fayard
