Patti Roberts Obituary
Services will be held on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 2:00pm, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach, where friends may visit one hour before the service. Interment will follow services at Evergreen Gardens, Gulfport. A private reception will be held at Victoria Farms. I had a crush on Patti when I was 15 and she was 14. I met her had a scrub farm outside Gulfport where we both rode horseback ... English.
At the time ... I thought she was the love of my life. I still have two photographs of her which have been packed away.
I’ve often thought of Patti over the years.
The real love of my life died 13 years ago ... as is so often the case, the love of your life is often beyond one’s reach.
Such was the case with Kitt Lloyd ... the beautiful young nurse with the high check bones and flashing eyes.
Patti and Kitt shared one think in common ... the were the two most beautiful women I’ve ever known.
These are the reminiscence of a 78 year old man in very poor health b.. a decorated Vietnam ground combat veteran.
Kitt died at the age of 65 ... and Patti at 66
God Bless forall eternity in the arms of the lord.

I just recently learned of Patti's passing...my sincere condolences to her Family. I worked with Patti many years ago at Treasure Bay...and will never forget her infectious smile and upbeat attitude. May God grant her eternal rest...

Ted, I am so so sorry. I have thought about you and Patti very often since leaving the Magic and always with a smile when I thought of Patti. She was truly an amazing woman. Patti taught me so much in the years I was her admin at Treasure Bay I hope she knew how much she inspired me and how much I respected her. I will always remember how she handled everything that came her way with grace and dignity....and an amazing smile! She was always so good to me, and was as much a friend as a "boss". My thoughts and prayers go out to Teddy and the family...she will always be in my heart.

Heaven truly opened the gates for a beautiful lady. You were such a graceful and gentle person. I am glad to have become one of your friends and that you have touched my life in so many ways. I am going to miss us getting together at the barn with our buddies and our horses. I will always remember you telling me to get up on my horse and breathe and sing "Jesus Love Me". My sincere condolences to Patti's family. I didn't personally know her, but feel as though I did. Someone very close to my family has worked for Patti at the Beau for several years. She has talked about her so many times, and always in glowing terms. I, also, read the beautiful article on-line, in a local Biloxi magazine, detailing the Roberts' romantic story. She was most obviously a very special lady, and I hope your warm memories comfort you all, during this very painful time.
