Shirley Crouch Kirkland, age 56, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edward James Crouch Sr. and Vesta Lazenby Crouch.
She is survived by her husband, John Kirkland of Gulfport; sister, Carol Carpenter of Gulfport; brothers, Jim Crouch (Maria) of Front Royal, VA and Ronald Crouch (Peggy) of Florida; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A funeral service will be held 10:00AM Friday, September 29, 2017 at Life Church, 208 Pass Rd, Gulfport. A burial will follow the service at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
Should friends and/or family desire; contributions may be sent to Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport.

I went to school with Shirley in Long Beach. She was just a sweet person. I am sorry to say I had lost touch with her over the years and wished I had gotten to hear that voice of an Angel but I know that God has gained another Angel. May God bring her family peace during this difficult time.

Shirley was a lovely person. She always had a smile and kind word.
Her beautiful singing was a favorite to everyone who heard it.
