Fritzi Lorraine Presley, age 62, of Long Beach, passed away on September 25, 2017.

She was preceded in death by a son, Christian "Bo" Smith; and her parents, Donald and Dorothy Presley.

She is survived by her children, Daisy (Joshua) Seal and Adrienne (Jacob) Young; her siblings, Kathy (Gerald) Paige, Donald A. (Priscella) Presley, Jr., Gretchen Pannell, and Janine (Bruce) Williams; 6 grandchildren, Noah Seal, Bella Seal, Madden Seal, Alexus Young, Madison Young, and Allison Young; and other relatives and friends.

Fritzi was a long time voice coach and piano teacher along the coast. She was a free spirit and would light up any room that she entered.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 6, 2017, from 5 – 8 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 pm Saturday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 East Beach Blvd, Long Beach. Interment will be in Long Beach City Cemetery.

We are still missin you and always will until we meet again. Life will never be the same. No matter how much time goes by, i will miss you. I will miss your advice, hugs, kisses, and your voice. The last good memory was laying in your lap and you running your fingers through my hair while i cried. That one touch, caress, will live in my heart forever. In the 46 years, I have known Fritzi Loraine she has always had a huge heart and room for all of Gods creatures from humans to animals. She was unique and dramatic from the age of 16 when I first met her. She was the proverbial middle child and sought the limelight, her siblings were all interesting and intelligent in their own ways. Despite her many talents, art, music, rhetorical thought etc.etc. her greatest contribution was her 3 children, Daisy, Andi, and her very special son Beau and she will be with him soon. As in all families, there were differences, but she had a great love of her parents, grandparents, her brother Buzzy, her beautiful sisters Catherine, Gretchen, and Jeanine. Throughout those 46 years and in my last visit with her she always expressed her love of them. Her grandchildren were so special as well. If you did not know Fritzi that well, you missed an incredible life, like most lives intermingled with drama, tragedy but always in her heart a great love of life, her family, her pets, and her love of God. I loved Fritzi the first time I met her, we were great friends thru more than a few marriages. I wish you knew her capacity to love and care, and many of you did, she made our lives richer and she was dramatic and a unique character in this wonderful, sometimes tragic play we call life. We will never forget her and she will always be in our hearts and minds.

I was so saddened to hear of Fritzi's passing. She was a wonderful and caring beautiful person. She helped me so much when I was a teenager. She's even the one who introduced me to catholicism. It was because of her that I finally converted and I've been raising my children as Catholics. She even gave my daughter voice lessons when she was a teenager and it was awesome to be able to reconnect with her at that time. Fritzi you will be so missed but now you can join Bo in Heaven. Rest In Peace beautiful angel. And know that you were loved by many.

Met Fritzi when we worked a show together. We became friends on Facebook. She was one of a kind. She had so many Facebook friends, but allowed everyone to share political and religious views without condemnation, and would try to quell things when arguments got out of hand. She was always kind to everyone. I enjoyed seeing her Facebook posts every day. I remember when she got sick last winter. I was away, but there were no postings. I knew something was wrong. She will be missed, but I know she is in a wonderful place with her beloved son. Prayers to her family, who she dearly loved.
