"Uncle Walter", You were an original, over the years, many have tried to fill the time slot, however, no one could ever take your place, You were tho consummate professional, and made us all feel secure, even when the Hurricanes threatened or hit us, you were always calm and made us the same way as well. You were amazing in the Navy, and a South Florida Legend. My Sympathies go Out to Your Family. Thank you for being a part of the fabric of South Florida. Sincerely, Gary A. Dear Family,

You do not know the sadness I felt after reading Mr. Cronise obituary. I have known of him since the time we was our awesome weather man in Miami, Florida. He introduced me to a great disc jockey, Roby Younge, who in turn introduced me to my husband of 32 years. Mr. Cronise loved people and people loved him back! We have lost a great human being!!!! I miss you Walter. Alicia Bird, Jacksonville, Florida
