Charles Kolodzie Obituary

Charles Stanley Kolodzie, 50, of Oshay Lane, Wood River Junction, RI, passed away on Thursday morning, May 29, 2014 at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Duke of Wood River Junction, RI; four sons, Charles S. Kolodzie II, John Kolodzie, Shawn Gallipeau, and Christopher Gallipeau; his daughter, Ashley Kolodzie; two grandchildren, Jasmine Gallipeau and Rylan Kolodzie; his brothers, Paul (Pat) Kolodzie and Michael (Margaret) Kolodzie; his sisters, Jo Anne Taylor and Christine (Frank) Gabriell, all of Upstate New York. He was pre-deceased by his brother, Patrick Kolodzie.

Mr. Kolodzie was born in Syracuse, NY on June 23, 1963, the son of the late Paul and Marie (Shifflet) Kolodzie. Charles was a self-employed contractor for many years.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Rushlow-Iacoi Funeral Home & Crematory, 64 Friendship Street, Westerly, RI 02891. Burial will take place following the service at White Brook Cemetery, Richmond, RI.
