Margaret "Peg" Ruth Van Luven (nee Betsch) of Clinton Township, MI, died suddenly June 5, 2012. Born on August 7, 1943, in N. Syracuse, NY, to Howard and Elise Betsch. She graduated from N. Syracuse High School and attended Powelson Business School in Syracuse. She married William "Bill" James Van Luven on July 10, 1965. After their marriage they moved to Clinton Township, Michigan.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, William "Bill"; two children and their spouses, Judy (Alan) Miller, Jim (Candice) Van Luven; three grandchildren: Taylor, Logan and Gavin; her sister, Elise McGlynn; three nieces; two nephews; six grandnieces; and six grandnephews.
Visitation and services will be held at the Wm. R. Hamilton Co.--Mt. Clemens from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012, with services the following day at 11 a.m./10 a.m. in state.
