To Mrs. Halley's family,

I am thinking about you all as you go through this difficult time. I always thought of Mrs. Halley, or who I would call "Mimi" as my adopted grandmother. I have enjoyed living across the street from her and would always smile as I saw her sitting outside. She was a wonderful friend, neighbor, and grandmother to me and a great friend of my mother's. If there is anything I can do, please do not hesitate to ask. Thinking of you all!

She had a ready smile and a hug ready for all who came close. I had a chance to sit and talk some with her last September. I hope you can take some comfort in the fact such a sweetie has to be now walking with our Lord.

Although I've only known Ms. Halley for a short time, I know that she was a warm and caring person; I know that she will be greatly missed. To the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

May the memories of dear Blanche bring you comfort as you go through this difficult time. I lived across the street from Gene & Blanche for many years, remained friends even after moving away. They were both very dear people & I know will be missed.
