Billy, you were the best putter inside 10 feet I have ever met. Thank you for always making me feel welcome at Capital City Country Club. Keep an eye on my son Matthew as he joins his brother and sister at University of Florida later this year. Thank you for your friendship. May God bless you!

Judy,
It was very inspiring reading about Bill's life. He had so many of your dad's wonderful attributes. Visiting him years ago in Florida is still so vivid in my mind. May you have countless joyful memories to keep him close in your heart. Thinking of you and all of your family. Take care. Bless you. "The Owens" will forever have a special place in my heart.

Dear Carolyn, We are so very sorry to learn of Bill's death, and know that you are just beginning to deal with his loss. He has fought a long and valiant battle with his cancer, throughout it all, still retaining his very pleasant, kind sense of humor and devotion to his family. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We hope you will be able to have your family together with you at this most difficult time. God Bless--Ruth and Bob Bass

Carolyn, Judy, and loving family,
You were so very blessed by having Bill in your lives. He stood for all that is God-honoring, virtuous, and truly American. As part of the Owen legacy, he exemplified the highest of personal and professional standards. His family, here and in glory, rejoice in his forever presence in their hearts and souls. My thoughts and prayers are for you all, in the forthcoming days and throughout the years. Bill gave so much to his family and the Tallahassee community. You have much to be proud of in his service to all. His best will shine through his family and future generations. He is "Home".
