I was verry sorry to hear of the passing of Dennis. He and I were schoolmates at St. Rose of Lima elementary school in Miami Shores and later at Archbishop Curley High School. We were both in a band together during the late 60's; he played lead guitar and I played rythym gutiar. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I was sorry to hear about Dennis from another neighborhood friend this evening. Dennis and I grew up together in Miami Shores across the street from each other. Unfortunately, we did not keep in touch after FSU ... marriage and family took us to different places. I will always have fond memories of Dennis. My prayers are with you.

I just learned of Dennis's passing today. What a terrible shock. He was such a great guy to work with back in 1980-81 at WGLF - positive and upbeat. I remember he had a yellow Mercedes and the vanity tag said "Yachts". His sense of humor was memorable.
He was such a bright light.

I had an unexpected surprise when I went to have breakfast with a dear friend and her companions! One of them was Barbara Samere! Barbara told me of your recent tragedy, and my heart broke for you. I am so very very sorry for your great loss - and after reading all of the notices that people have left here for your husband - it seems that I must also be sorry that I never met such a well thought of man. He must have been such a wonderful husband - and I am so happy that you had him for as long as you did. Good marriages are one thing, wonderful ones are very rare. Again, I am so sorry for your loss - please know that I am thinking of you from across the miles and across the years.

I want to express my deepest sympathy to the family of Dennis Boyle.
He may not have even realized what a difference he made in the lives of so many others.
I'll never forget how he'd light up the WCTV newsroom when he walked in; he'd take the time to talk to us; he was genuinely interested in how we were doing - we felt valued and respected. He was always enthusiastic and full of optimism.
Many years have gone by since those days at the television station, but I will always be inspired by his generous spirit.

I first met Dennis when he took the sports marketing job at FSU and I was the Men's Head Track Coach. As our careers changed our paths seemed to continually cross at Phipps functions, Seminole Booster and other FSU functions, Ducks Unlimited banquets and elsewhere. I always had the highest regard for Dennis's energy, personality, commitment to his causes with such great success and of course his friendship. The world has truly lost a man that we need many more of today. He will be missed greatly by more than just his family and close friends and business associates. Please accept our condolences. Words of expression of our feelings are so difficult to come by at times like this.

My husband (the late Dr. Hutchison) had told me about your work there.....Carmen was a part of our family for several years. And Mac, a friend of our son, Tom....This was a terrible tragedy. I am sure you have heard every expression possible about Dennis. Larger than life, gracious, a man of integrity, and loving husband & father are a few that we have heard in every description of him over the past few days since his passing. He STILL IS all of those things and so much more. As an aviator and a man who now has the ultimate set of wings, it is prudent to think of 'High Flight'

Along about 1979, Dennis and I were the two finalists for the same job as a TV producer-director for FSU. I was hired, and Dennis went on to his great career with Phipps. Years later, when I was hired as program director of a Phipps TV station, and I went in to be greeted by my new boss, Dennis told me that he had really wanted that job I had beaten him out of in 1979. But he certainly held no grudge! How different both our lives would have been had he gotten that FSU job instead of me. Dennis was a good man. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to his family.

My daughter goes to school with Elizabeth and loves her very much. She has cried with her even though she has not been able to be with her. I would like to thank the Boyle family for letting my daughter be a part of their life for the past year She is a better person for the warmth and kindness the family has bestowed on her the times she was able to share with them. I did not know Dennis Boyle but I know the world was a better place with him in it. My daughter would come home so excited when she had any opportunity to spend with them. Elizabeth is truly a remarkable girl and I enjoyed meeting her so much. My heart goes out to her and her family.
