Aunt Tootsie, I am so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He really was a cool guy and I mean that in the greatest sense of the word. He was always interesting and easy to talk with. I knew instinctively that he was so smart and I'm sure he made wonderful contributions in serving our country. You and the girls are in my prayers. I'll be speaking with you soon. Love, Carol

US Army, retired

May 24, 2012

Here stood a man I never knew. He served our country before I was born. I served in the Army for 28 years, and knew we had heros that went before us. This is a man I would have loved to have sat down and talked to. People like this, when they pass away is like a library burning down. Major, thank you for your service.
