FRANK, Vivian Ruth

93, went to her eternal home Dec. 9, 2015. She passed peacefully at her Westminster Palms residence. She was preceded in death by her late husband of 54 years, Richard Frank and her daughter, Margaret C. Swing. Vivian was born in Valparaiso, IN in 1921 and grew up in Fort Wayne. She was a loving mother to four children and a homemaker. She was a charter and active member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church. Vivian was awarded the handmaiden of the Lord for her steadfast work for the Catholic Church in 2006. She was involved with many charitable organizations such as Easter Seals, Meals on Wheels, St. Anthony's Hospital, former president of St. Raphael's Women's Guild, Girl Scouts co-leader, former Queen of Hearts, and member of the Allendale Garden Club. Her hobbies included sewing, baking, traveling, and writing. She developed many friendships at Westminster and served on various committees. Vivian is survived by her three children, Rita Baldwin (Tom Bishop) of Pittsboro, NC, Carole Frank of St. Petersburg, and Donald Frank (Rebecca) of St. Pete Beach. She has five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Vivian's funeral mass will be held Friday, Dec. 18, at 10 am at St. Raphael's Catholic Church.
