Leonard Knopp Obituary

KNOPP, Leonard J. "Saltwater Cowboy" 55, of New Port Richey, passed on April 14, 2009, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was a loving and devoted father and a beloved husband to Connie for 38 years. He was a lifelong resident of New Port Richey. Len was employed by Pasco County Utilities, Waste Water Treatment plant on Denton Avenue. He was an avid fisherman who held a captain's license. He had a lifelong love and respect for fishing and water conservation. He is survived by his wife, Connie; daughter, Christine Knighton; son-in-law, Sean Knighton; daughter, Chastity Knopp; future son-in-law, Darrell Bozeman; two grandchildren, Owen and Lyason Bozeman; sisters, Judy Osteen, Debbie Smith and Barbara Sprouse; along with many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Gizzy, Reba and Becky. A celebration of life service will be held at Fatty-n-Mabel's Riverside Eatery, 5245 Limestone Drive, Port Richey, FL 34668, Sunday, April 19, 2009, at 2 pm. Come as you are and bring your memories.
