I had the privilege of serving as Dean of the Clearwater chapter of American Guild of Organists for part of the period when Ken was producing the Friends' Concerts and of attending several of them. His kindness to our AGO chapter is legendary and many young people have learned to play and love the organ through the scholarships Ken made possible. He lives on in their music.

I am one of the many people that "Mr. Grom" positively influenced...he was my piano teacher and choir director as I grew up in Barrington, IL. What a wonderful gift! He gave me my life long love of music and always encouraged me. He shall truly be missed and remembered most fondly.

Ken & Lorie always represented what was best about the community of faith for me. I am grateful that I knew him & could call him my friend.

Lots of wonderful memories! Will always remember the times Ken accompanied me when I did solo bell ringing. And, of course, those wonderful Friends' Concerts. Mary Ann Shockley - Jim, too
