Mom, Happy Mothers Day. I Miss you so much. I got you your roses, bright red ones like you like. this is the first year I didn't buy a Mothers Day card and I had trouble dealing with that. After sitting with you a while I felt better. You have a way of making people feel better. Mom I love you, Happy Mothers Day.

This is hard, Maw. Its so hard to come to terms with the fact we won't have anymore shopping cart incidents, or breakfasts at Potbellies. I love you maw, and I'm happy you're not in pain anymore. You're in a better place now.

Mom, here's a first, I'm at a loss for words. There simply are no words adequate to describe the depth of my sorrow, the void in my heart that your passing has created. I will miss you each day for the rest of my life and will treasure your memory. Love, Duane

Your complete acceptance and knowing that one day youd be called home, because you always knew leaving wasnt the end; it was just the beginning.

These are a few of the memories i will always cherish, Maw. There are many, many, many more and we will always have them. I love you so much and a day wont go by that i wont think of you or talk to you.

Okay everyone here is the low down on my MIL aka Mother In Law. She was the Best. She was greedy with her sons. Not to be mean but the closeness I saw them share is unexplainable.Pure devotion to each other. I was one of the lucky few to witness this. If not for her kindness and true heart. I would of become jealous of this true circle of love she shared with them. She was so funny and could hit the whit wagon better than anyone I've ever known. She loved playing button-button who's got the button game. With her grandchildren and great grandchildren. And somehow win every time! She loved Christmas and yes EVERY year there was a mystery gift under the tree. With no tag and she'd say to me. I know I have an even number of gifts for everyone so whom ever I have shorted we will know in the end and it will be theirs. Never without a solution to a silly gift problem or a major lifes situation. She trusted the Lord shared his word and preached it to us all, to trust it and believe it. She had a direct line as my own Mother would say. To the Lord. When a tragedy or prayer was wanted and needed in the family. It was she we would call upon for prayer and guidance. Now I have the question of all questions. When will this pain in my heart end. She was a faithful friend and second Mother to me. And I miss her to much already. I hope what they say is true. Time heals. I don't like to wait. Never have. Mom I promise to do as you asked. Make sure the boys are okay. Claudia and I will. Enjoy the strength of our love as you join your heavenly family. For so long you have missed them. Drop a button for me from time to time OK. I Love You

Mom, I have dreaded this day my entire life and now that it is here I must say a few things that I know you will understand. First this is another piece of our puzzle and we know that the puzzle is never done. We will still go out amongst them and we will still laugh at our silliness. We will still talk and plan. The "puppy" will be taken care of. I know you're in Heaven and free of pain, I will see you there Mom. I love you so much.

Maw,
There's are so many memories running through my mind of us. I am so blessed to have you as my grandmother. My love for you is more than you could ever imagine. You showed me the love of Christ, family, and how to survive in a car with Paw Paw. I'm so proud of my Dad,my Mom,my Uncle Duane, and my Nana for showing me the unconditional love they had for you and how they stepped up to the plate when you needed them the most. You are my guardian angel I can feel you with me and I know we will see each other again and I will smell your perfume and hear your laugh and feel your embrace.

Your loving granddaughter,
Amanda
